So today I cleaned out all the dust in my computer. I plugged everything back and now my cd-rom isn't working. It tells me there is no CD/DVD ROM. However my light is on it runs also and it spins. Does anyone know what I can do to make it work

Travel to Device Manager and right click it and select remove/uninstall and re-boot...
Windows will automatically re-install it.

Sounds like the data cable is loose.

Everything works now. however when i play my game it freeze or restarts. If its not one thing its another  Sad

I didn't plugged it in correctly. The game I'm trying to play is Sims 2. I dint get any error messages it either freezes or restarts everytime i try to play it.

You truly could have dislodged either the IDE cable or SATA cable depending which one you have......

Its very easy to do....
